Do you know that feeling of just not feeling like going to the gym to do the same workout as last time and the time before? It's hard to believe, but that's how we sometimes feel here at our gym in Zürich-Altstetten . While there are plenty of options to diversify your workout, such as Functional Training , sometimes you don't have the energy, motivation or creativity to change things up.

Don't be put off if you might think boxing isn't your thing - because fitness boxing is for everyone and is fun even without an opponent! Whether you've tried it before or not, whether you're a powerhouse or just recently started working out, boxing is a way for everyone to work up a sweat and get a complete workout. And believe us, you'll have fun at the same time!
Fitness boxing has many advantages. It is not about beating each other, because the training takes place without opponents. You train both strength, coordination and agility. The training uses different muscle groups, and you train your endurance and speed in boxing. And if there's one thing fitness boxing is good for, it's getting rid of the stress of everyday life and completely switching off while you're working out.
At GYMONE Zurich-Altstetten we have boxing on the program on both Tuesdays and Wednesdays. On Tuesdays, our group classes are geared towards beginners so that you first learn the technique and get an introduction to boxing training. Everyone is welcome here and everyone can join, no matter what level of training you are at otherwise. And don't worry: just because the course is aimed at beginners doesn't mean you won't break a sweat - quite the opposite.
Then on Wednesdays there is fitness boxing as a group class for those who have been boxing for a long time. The exercises are intensified and you will feel that your endurance is trained and challenged more intensively. If you are unsure whether you are ready to attend the Wednesday class, you are welcome to ask the group leader for advice.
Try it out and let the course convince you. Our experience tells us that almost everyone comes back for a second, third and fourth time after the first class.
