What are the effects of stretching?
Regular stretching can improve joint mobility in the long term and strengthen tendons and ligaments.
This is beneficial to take your training to the next level: The smoother and more economical your musculoskeletal system, the better your performance. When squatting, for example, you can squat deeper, when jogging you get into a relaxed run faster, and when kickboxing you execute more powerful punches and kicks. Of course, how strong the positive effects of stretching are on your performance is entirely up to the individual. But as long as you don't overstretch, it can't hurt.
Other benefits of stretching:
- Compensation of imbalances
- Release tension
- Stress reduction
- Increased feeling of satisfaction
