Functional training

Description:

Function means "sense" or "purpose"; functional training can therefore be described as purposeful training. What is considered purposeful depends on the type of sport, training level, performance goal or training concept. Thus, depending on the initial situation and goal definition, sport-specific training or classic strength training becomes functional training. This happens for the simple reason that functional training aims to optimally prepare athletes or health athletes for the practice of a sport or everyday life.
